I can help you fully plan and design your wedding from start to finish, coordinate the final planning stages & day of, add design elements with wedding arches & unique décor, and/or officiate the ceremony you and your partner have always dreamed of.​

I began working in the hospitality industry from a young age and found my true calling specifically working with weddings and special events back in 2017 as a catering sales coordinator for a large hotel and then amidst the pandemic in 2021 Sunflower & Seashell Event Co. was born and life has been filled with so much love ever since.

I became an ordained minister in 2020 and have found that I have finally “married” all of my skills into what is now the perfect career. Since then I’ve married over 30 couples and been apart of almost 150 incredible celebrations! I’m very passionate about ensuring every single detail is thoughtful and customized to your unique love story.

Growing up near Sandy Hook I spent most of my time on the nearby beaches and up in Hartshorne woods overlooking the shoreline and skyline which influenced my whimsical and natural design aesthetics. My main motivations and inspirations come from my loving daughters Rory & Ruby, incredible unpaid worker husband Jesse, and our tuxedo cat Sox (who is always wedding ready!).

A lot of people ask me where the name of my company came from and the seashells portion is a dedication to my mom who was so amazing and she is the reason I am so lucky to have grown up practically living at the beach. We spent so much time collecting seashells and I love being able to represent her in every part of my career. The sunflower portion is for my husband who I gave an actual sunflower to on our first date after working a sunflower filled wedding back when I was a venue coordinator (fun fact I actually had 4 weddings that day before but thankfully for 2019 me I left after cocktail hour and was on our date by 8:30pm). I told myself if I liked him a lot I would be bold and give him the sunflower at the end, over 5 years later and we are still gifting sunflowers back and forth.

There’s almost nothing I wouldn’t do to make sure your day is as perfect as possible and I truly hope I get the chance to make yours just the way you have always imagined it would be!
